The Devil
When we first encounter this card, the Devil is the overwhelming scary creature we have been taught to fear. We were told that he controls us and tempts us to be cruel and self-absorbed, vindictive and manipulative. But the poor guy, he is just a personification of illusion and we have made him ugly so we can forget he is ourselves.
Queen of Wands
The Queen of Wands is sitting on her throne with staff in hand, ready to stand up and take action. This fire queen has an air of surety and decisiveness. This is the summer queen, shining bright in her full glory. She has no doubts about what she has achieved and what she wants to do next.
Knight of Swords
Have you ever had one of those days where the chaos was at a peek, things were all going wrong, or you needed rescue someone right now? I try not to panic and let my anxiety get the best of me and just do the first thing that comes to mind. Sometimes in the middle of chaos we need to take a moment, think, calm our emotions. But that isn’t always easy to do.
